Their earliest model dates back to ’66, when they created the FG180 Folk model, their first in-house engineered guitar. The APX600 followed its best-selling APX500 predecessor but added a few cosmetic refinements. Accessing the full fretboard’s easier than ever due to its thinline cutaway design. The distinctive oval-shaped soundhole was also revamped to produce more prominent low tones and reactive middle-range harmonic blasts. It’s beautifully complimented with a simple but classic abalone rosette.
It combines all the attributes that made its predecessor, the APX500, one of the world’s best-selling acoustic-electric guitars, along with a few comfort and cosmetic upgrades.
